Cultural events starting almost all year round:

Christmas: At Amalia Square inflatable houses and Santa Claus waiting all younger friends for all-day games.

Good Friday: The procession of the Epitaph allover Karystos and Marmari.

Holy Saturday: Arrival of the Holy Fire with a boat.

Sexagesima: Large carnival in Marmari.

Ash Monday: The custom of "Makarouna” revived on the beach of Bouros.

October 28th and March 25th: School parades and a unique horsemen parade.

July - August: There are plenty of events such as theatrical performances, concerts, exhibitions and at the end of August "Wine Festival" in Karystos with a band, dancing and plenty of wine and "Sardine Festival" in Marmari and " Berry Feast " in Grambia .

There are other events - festivals in each village separately mainly celebrations of saints which are their patrons.
